This is gonna be designed to be used with two inch hitches, and gives you a slightly higher rise and drop than some of their other options. In its maximum drop configuration, giving you up to 7 1/4 inches of drop, and in the maximum rise configuration, up to 7 1/2 inches of rise. This is their heavy-duty series, so it's gonna boast a slightly higher weight capacity. Maybe a little bit too much for our 4Runner that we've got it on today, but if you've got a truck with a two inch hitch, then this could be a good fit for you. more

The two-inch on top is capable of towing 10,000 pounds, and then the 2 5/16-inch ball is capable of towing 14,000 pounds. Now, these come in a variety of different shapes and sizes with different rise and drop options, as well as tri-ball and dual ball mount options here. Now, this is one of the tri-ball mounts, which means it's gonna come with a 2 5/16 inch ball, a two inch ball, and an inch and 7/8. They can easily pull a pin and clip and switch between as you need to, so you can adjust that on the fly if you've got a variety of different trailers. This is also available in different rise and drops, creating a heavy mega duty ball mount for extreme towing situations. We'll talk about what it includes and what it can do here at etrailer. This is actually a very versatile ball mount with a lot of weight capacity, but also a very heavy ball mount so some people call this the one stop shop hitch ball mount and that's because it has stacked receivers so you can do a lot with this. It is designed for 2-1/2" hitch receivers though, that's what we have here on our Chevrolet Silverado. Now this B&W Toe & Stow adjustable ball mount is going to slide into your 2 1/2 inch hitch receiver, and it's gonna let you tow a variety of trailers with different tongue heights, having a 1 7/8 inch ball, a 2 inch ball, and a 2 5/16 inch hitch ball. These are going to allow for even more flexibility, making this a great ball mount to consider if you own multiple trailers. Now when you are not towing, you can easily flip the ball mount platform around and stow it beneath your hitch so that you won't bang up your shins. So if you need a lot of adjustability, whether it's in the rise or the drop position, then this is gonna be a really good option for you. Let's talk about some of its pros and cons right here at etrailer.com. So there's two pieces to this ball mount, you can keep the first piece in your hitch your receiver if you want, and then you just get the actual ball mount shank, and then insert it in either the rise or the drop position. So I currently have the hitch ball, which is not included, in the drop position, and this is how much adjustability you can get. To measure for the rise and drop that's needed, you measure from the top inside edge of your hitch receiver all the way to the base of the ball, and that's gonna be your rise and drop. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here with the trailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at this Buyers Products Tri-Ball Mount with the pintle hook attachment. It's gonna be a pretty simple way to get a variety of different ball sizes as well as the ability to tow a lunette ring trailer all with one ball mount. Let's check it out. So this doesn't have any adjustment built into it as far as height goes, so if you are switching between a variety of different trailers, I would look into a nicer ball mount that has these different options for hookup but has height adjustment. If you're not too concerned about that and you just need the different coupler sizes or the different balls for different size couplers and the ability to use the pintle hook on a lunette ring trailer then this will do the trick. more

And the great part too, it's 12 inches long so you're gonna get a little bit more clearance when hooking up to your trailer. Now when towing the trailer, you wanna make sure that the trailer coupler is gonna be nice and level to get the best towing experience. And sometimes you have a car that the height kind of matches up pretty close. You just need minor adjustments and that's where something like this really comes into play. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Curt Ball Mount for two inch hitches. Now this one is a full chrome plated so it does give a little bit different look and you have a two-inch drop and a 3/4 inch rise. Now keep in mind when picking up a ball mount a lot of times they do not come with a ball and this one is just like that. Now we just went ahead and put a Curt 6,000 pound ball in here. Now keep in mind that you want to pick up a ball that's going to match the coupler of your trailer but also match the diameter of the shank hole. So this one is gonna be an inch so whatever ball you're picking up, whether it be an inch and 7/8, a two inch ball or 2 5/16. more

Curt Dual Length Ball Mount Review- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Curt Ball Mount for 2" hitches. And this one's pretty aggressive. We have a 6" drop like we have here but also the ability to have a 4" rise. Now why do you need a rise or drop like this Well, if you have a lifted vehicle, or even sometimes, factory vehicles are having these hitches pretty high up as far as ground clearance, and that means that you are gonna have to maybe get a drop to match up the coupler of your trailer. Or conversely, you have a car that's pretty low to the ground with a low ground clearance and you need to rise this up to be able to get to that hitch and center up your trailer nice and perfectly. Well, this offers that in two different configurations just by simply flipping and retorquing the ball on. more

Now this shock absorbing adjustable ball mount is going to slide into your 3 inch trailer hitch receiver and it's going to give you 6 stacked 2-1/2 inch receivers. So you can hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle with the included 2 inch or 2-5/16 inch hitch balls. And you can also tow a trailer that has a lunette ring using it on the 2-5/16 inch hitch ball paired with the included pintle lock. Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look at the Curt trailer hitch ball mount for two-inch hitches with a 2 5/16" ball, a four-inch drop and a two-inch rise. This is gonna be a great option if you have a 2 5/16" coupler on your trailer and you need a little bit of a drop, but also you have the ability to have a two-inch rise. Now the ball does come with the ball mount, which is really nice, it's already pre-torqued on there. And so if you are gonna put it in the rise position, you're gonna flip this over. You will have to take the ball mount off, flip it and retorque it down, but you do have that adjustability. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the CURT Trailer Hitch Ball Mount with a two and 5/16 ball or a two-inch hitch. Now this ball mount will give you a six-inch drop, like we have in our configuration here. And that's gonna give you some solid towing capacities with a gross trailer weight rating coming in at 7,500 pounds. So that's gonna be the weight of the trailer plus the accessories on it. You also have a tongue weight rating of 750 pounds, and that's gonna be the pressure that's put down on the ball mount. Now it can also be put in a rise position, and that's gonna give you a four-inch rise. more

We've got a 2-inch shank here that will slide into your vehicle's 2-inch by 2-inch trailer hitch receiver. Then we're going to have a 2-inch ball and a 2 5/16 inch ball that will allow you to connect to your trailer's coupler and so that you can tow your trailer down the road. This does have a reversible design, so it's very easy to switch between those two hitch balls. more
